Callie Barlow is a New Orleans-bred, Los Angeles-based documentary filmmaker. In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Callie picked up a camera and began documenting the world around her. An astute observer, her work examines unique corners of life, and how people express themselves in those spaces. 

Her short documentary Our Neighbors, The Peacocks premieres at the Santa Barbara Film Festival in 2024. She is currently producing an upcoming documentary series with Goode Films, A24, Elara Pictures and HBO. She previously served as Supervising Producer of The Rescue, The First Wave, Becoming Cousteau, Fauci, and Own The Room for National Geographic Documentary Films. Prior to that, Callie was the VP of Development at RYOT Films, the Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning film studio owned by Verizon Media, where she was responsible for a dynamic slate of feature documentaries, series, and shorts that debuted at Sundance, Tribeca, SxSW, and Hot Docs, among others.

She graduated from Parsons School of Design with a BFA in Photography in 2010.
